Who can use Library e-resources
Most databases, e-journals and e-books can only be used by current staff and students.
A smaller number of resources are available for NHS, graduates, and other external users (including staff and students of the Colleges and Affiliated Colleges of the University). These are restricted because of the limits of publisher licence agreements.
Any e-resource, whether restricted to a particular user group or freely available, is generally under copyright and therefore you must not copy, save or print more than the agreed limits under fair dealing. You may not include material taken from e-resources in teaching materials (handouts or course packs) unless the licence specifically permits this.
See E-journal licences for more information.
