Art in the Afterlife: Performance by 'Tryptich'
Date: Thursday 16 May 2013
Location: The Stanley & Audrey Burton Gallery
Time: 17:00 - 19:00
'Tryptich' is a theatre company of Students at the School of Performance and Cultural Studies. This is their Museums at Night performance inspired by the Gallery's collections.
"After killing time in a clinical waiting room, you are led to a crossroads. One path will take you down the road to ethereal beauty, the other to a world of grotesque hedonism."
Inspired by Bosch's Garden of Earthly Delights, the performance by students at the School of Performance and Cultural Industries will be guiding the weary visitor through heaven, hell and purgatory.
A 'Museums at Night' event.
