Print Making Fun! Part One!

Event icon

Date: Saturday 20 Sep 2014

Location: The Stanley and Audrey Burton Gallery

Time: 10:30 - 13:00

Cost: Free Event

An end of summer special! A day of printing workshops with tutor and artist Jade Blood! This will most definitely be a lot of fun and something to look forward to now you're back at school!

Try out various methods of print (from Lino cut to screen printing) and learn how to transfer your own designs on to tote bags, cards and gift wrap!

A great way to spend a morning, or take part in both sessions and really get to grips with the many ways of printing.

This will be a messy workshop so please wear old clothes.

Jade Blood is an expereinced printmaker and tutor who runs various workshops and courses in York, at Bar Lane Studios amongst other places. She is currently the Art Graduate in Residence at Bootham School, York.

This is a free workshop but please remember that spaces are limited so booking is a must! There will be a £5 refundable booking fee returned to you upon arrival at the workshop. Please note that cancellations within 48 hours of the workshop start date will not be eligible for a refund.

Please book online: summer-printing.eventbrite.co.uk

For further information contact the Gallery directly via email: gallery@leeds.ac.uk or tel: 0113 3432778

Come and join us in the Gallery for a full day, or just half a day; get creative, make a mess, learn a new skill & make something cool to take home with you!

Please note that if your child will be coming for a full day and will not be accompanied by an adult they must stay with Gallery staff during the lunch break and will need to bring a packed lunch with them as there is nowhere in the building to buy food.
