When you order any copy of Special Collections material, you sign an undertaking to seek our permission if you wish to publish any of it. Before giving our permission, we may ask you to show us written evidence that you already have the copyright owner's consent.
There is usually a fee applicable if you want to publish a copy of an item from Special Collections.
Getting the copyright owner's consent
This is your responsibility. However, we have helpful information on the main Library website about identifying and locating the owner of the copyright. The Writers Artists and Their Copyright Holders (WATCH) database may help you locate copyright holders.
