Before you search, you can use the drop-down menu to restrict your search to:
- Electronic Resources
- Special Collections
Searching Full Catalogue is the default option.
More information on restricting searches.
You can also refine your search results.
This is useful if your search has produced a large number of records.
When your search results appear on the screen, choose the Refine Search button at the top of the page.
The Keyword search screen lets you limit your search before you carry it out:
- Full Catalogue, Special Collections, Journals/Periodicals, Electronic Resources
- Location of the item (eg Edward Boyle Library)
- Material type (eg sound recording, computer file etc)
- Language of the item
- Year of publication
You can choose to limit the results to those records containing additional words in the author, title or subject, and you can sort the results by date, title, and relevance.
