The libraries SCONUL Access scheme - is it for you?

Be part of the national higher education libraries scheme and join SCONUL Access (Society of College, National and University Libraries).

Membership gives you access to well over 150 higher education and national libraries in the UK and Ireland.

So whether you're academic staff, a distance learner, a postgraduate or undergraduate, you can be part of the scheme which promotes excellent library services.

Your membership will last over the summer and usually longer, and often includes borrowing.

It's worth getting yourself a SCONUL card if you want to use other libraries. For further details see our page on using other libraries.

Don't forget you can also take advantage of the many public libraries around the country, and the famous British Library has a reference-only Reading Room in Boston Spa, Wetherby, only 14 miles north of Leeds.
