Who we are
Skills@Library provides academic skills teaching and e-learning support so that students can effectively find, use, apply and present the information they need.
We offer a range of services to support academic skills development:
Workshop programme: covering such areas as academic writing, reading, and finding information.
1-to-1 support: drop-in sessions for maths support and general academic skills help.
Online tutorials: a comprehensive collection of online resources on various academic skills topics.
Group working spaces: bookable rooms with projection facilities.
Teaching in the curriculum: in partnership with academic staff, Skills@Library and faculty team librarians design, develop and deliver discipline-specific, curriculum-based academic skills activities.
Your feedback helps us make sure we offer the best services and support for students and staff at the University of Leeds and beyond.
