Description

The roundel on left shows God instructing Adam and Eve beside the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil (9). The roundel on right depicts God upbraiding Adam and Eve, who kneel in short green skirts (10). A rinceau border with hairline tendrils holding golden ivy leaves and balls, and amongst them poppies and acanthus leaves.
