Combine cake, icing, and art to get the perfect masterpiece!Show description +
It's always wonderful when there's a really good reason to eat cake!...
Take part in this new fundraising initiative from the Art Fund which encourages art lovers to create edible masterpieces inspired by their favourite works of art.
Here at the Gallery, jigsaw puzzle pieces of cake will be available to all, to decorate. Once finished, these will be placed together to form a mystery work of art found somewhere within the Gallery. Remember though, if you eat your cake too soon there will be a hole in the cake-painting and the identity of this edible masterpiece may never be revealed!.... (all cake can be taken home to devour after the event!)
Led by the lovely team at Leeds' own Love Rouge Bakery this workshop really will be the best excuse you'll ever find to eat cake!
This workshop is open to all. No need to book, just turn up and try your hand at making art with icing and cake!
A minimal donation of £2 will be charged for those wishing to take part in this event. All funds raised on the day will go towards helping UK museums and galleries like ours.
Suitable for all ages
