Exhibition Preview: Fifty Works by Fifty British Women Artists 1900–1950

Join us to celebrate an exhibition that pays tribute to the extraordinary cultural production of 50 women artists who lived and worked in Britain during the first half of the 20th century.

Sacha Llewellyn is the curator of Fifty Works by Fifty British Women Artists 1900–1950, celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Representation of the People’s Act.

A diverse range of traditions and styles of artwork will be on display, addressing the long undervalued contributions of women to the art of 20th century Britain.

The exhibition opening is free to attend and all are welcome. There will be refreshments available and a welcome by Sacha Llewellyn and Stella Butler, University Librarian and Keeper of the Brotherton Collection.
