Get Creative: Life Drawing with Rob Oldfield

Rob Oldfield is back! Join the Galleries' old friend, artist and life drawing tutor extraordinaire in this online life drawing class.

This workshop is open to everyone, from newcomers who want to take up a hobby through to experienced artists looking to hone their sketching skills.

Rob Oldfield has been leading our life drawing classes since August 2014 and everyone is a fan! Rob is a York-based artist, graphic designer, sign-writer, art technician and tutor. He has modelled for life classes for many years as well as teaching life drawing to his students. As a tutor, Rob encourages, advises and listens so please do come along and take advantage of his skills and experience.

Please provide your own materials. You might consider using some of the following:

Paper: Cartridge, sugar, brown packing paper, printer paper etc.

Pens, pencil, charcoal, graphite sticks, chalk, oil pastels, wax crayons.

 

Due to the nature of this workshop, for the respect and safety of the model we ask:

That all participant's cameras remain on throughout the duration of the workshop.

When booking please make sure that you book for each person attending even if you will be using the same device to join the workshop. Please make sure that the name on your Zoom account matches the booking name. If we can’t recognise you from your booking we will not be able to let you join.
