Line drawing of a piano

A unique collection of piano postcards created by high profile individuals to celebrate the Leeds International Piano Competition

In recognition of its longstanding association with the Competition, the University of Leeds invited famous faces connected with the arts and Yorkshire to create a unique piano postcard by drawing, painting or photographing subjects related to the Competition. The result is a fascinating exhibition with art work from a uniquely diverse group of individuals ranging from distinguished writer Alan Bennett to singer-song writer and star of the Olympic opening and closing ceremonies, Emeli Sandé.

At the end of the exhibition, all artworks will be auctioned for charity with the proceeds going to music charities Live Music Now and Nordoff Robbins.
