Starting in June, we will embark on a transformative project across many facets of the Brotherton Library.
These improvement works will involve significant changes, including an extension to the current Special Collections Research Centre; reorganisation of several collections; renovating the Brotherton round reading room floor; and the final stages of the West Building refurbishment.
Once works are completed, the Brotherton Library will feel rejuvenated, with a more cohesive approach to book stock, a more welcoming West Building and better Special Collections facilities for both research and teaching.
During the project, there will be periods of disruption which will affect access to collection items, study spaces and some Library services. For a full breakdown of these disruptions, visit Closure dates and alternative arrangements.
