Getting the copyright owner's consent

It is your responsibility to ensure you have the copyright owners consent to reuse (in any way) the material you have viewed in Special Collections.

We have information on the main Library website about identifying and locating the owner of the copyright, including sample letters for requesting permission to reuse content.

The Writers Artists and Their Copyright Holders (WATCH) database may also help you locate copyright holders.
