Presentation practice

Practicing your presentation can give you confidence when you deliver it in front of an audience.  Giving yourself time to practice will also highlight where your presentation may need changes, and how long it will really take you to deliver it!  

Before you deliver a presentation, it may be useful to carry out the following exercises to help you feel more confident and gain maximum impact on your audience (use the tile icon on player to toggle videos):

You can use the group rooms in the Laidlaw Library to practice presentations. These rooms are equipped with large screens, and can be used by individuals or groups.

It is also possible to record yourself giving a presentation using Lecture Capture at Leeds.  More information on how to do this can be found on our Lecture Capture webpages.
