Special Collections has successfully passed the first stage of a Heritage Lottery Fund application and is now in the process of preparing for Stage two.

As part of the application process, all Special Collections staff will be involved in the development of a new gallery space for the collections.

Special Collections will be closed on Wednesday 25 September, while staff work with consultants to put together an activity plan of public engagement. This plan will form the basis of the gallery's operational objectives.

We apologise to our visitors for the inconvenience this causes.

Special Collections will re-open on Thursday 26 September.
