If you're new on campus, find out how to make the most of our services and facilities.

For undergraduates 

The Library Guide contains all the information you'll need as a new undergraduate. You'll discover how to: 

  • use Search@Library to locate online resources such as ebooks, databases, journals and articles for your studies
  • borrow and renew items from our libraries 
  • use our many online tutorials to help you with your studies
  • make the most of our workshops and webinars. 

For postgraduates 

Skills for Success, is designed to provide postgraduates with the tools you need to succeed in your studies by making the most of what the Library has to offer. It covers:

  • searching the library's resources using Search@Library, and finding out how to borrow and renew items
  • how to improve your academic skills (such as critical thinking)  
  • finding a range of information effectively using different search tools 
  • where to find many other helpful resources.
