Once again the Library is pleased to be supporting Leeds RAG with a direct donation this year of £2000.

"The Library is very pleased to support RAG", said Stella Butler, University Librarian, "we recognise the difference that RAG funds can make to charitable organisations, both close to home in Leeds and further afield".

Community Fund Coordinator for Rag, Liz Egan, welcomed the donation as "wonderful news".

The money donated by the Library represents about one week's worth of fines paid by students for the late return of Library books. "We are pleased to put this money back into the causes supported by Leeds students through RAG", explained Stella.

The Library has also digitised front covers of the RAG magazine "Tyke", revealing the history of student fundraising at Leeds. These are available to view on the Library website

Throughout RAG week the Library will have RAG collection tins at its reception desks - so please give generously!
