Use SCONUL Access to discover other university libraries this vacation

The SCONUL Access scheme allows you entry to most of the university and college libraries in the UK and Ireland. Register for the scheme through the SCONUL website.

If you are a member of academic staff, a full- or part-time postgraduate, or a distance-learning or placement student, you will usually be able to borrow from other libraries. Full-time undergraduates can use the libraries of most universities in the scheme for reference only.

You can search other library catalogues to check if they have the books you want before you visit. The SCONUL FAQ page answers common queries.

During vacations you can use many of the participating libraries without registering online first, but remember to take your University of Leeds staff or student ID. Check the website of the library you want to visit to see if they offer SCONUL summer vacation access.
