Come to a performance and treasure hunt in the Brotherton Library on Friday from 7pm

Join us in the Brotherton Library on Friday 9 October for Light Night with live performances of 'It's Electrifying' and a treasure hunt around the reading room to find a missing treasure from Special Collections.

Treasure Hunt

One of the library treasures is missing!

The Library is opening a new exhibition gallery and without the missing treasure the gallery cannot open. Come and find clues around the beautiful art deco library - can you find the treasure and help save the gallery?

This event is free and runs from 7-9.45pm.

It's Electrifying

When electric light was first brought into the home it was seen as a potential threat to domestic order and welfare. Theatre and Performance students will be performing a story about domesticating electricity in the atmospheric surroundings of the historic Brotherton Room.

The event is free and does not require tickets. Performances will run from 7-9.30pm.
