Laidlaw Library extends opening hours for exam period

24 hour opening

When the Laidlaw Library opens its doors at 10am on Sunday 10 January, it will remain open non-stop until 7pm on Friday 22 January. Opening hours are also extended until midnight every day the week before, from Sun 3 to Sat 9 January.

Check the Library opening times for other libraries on campus.

Getting home

If you're studying late, you can use Leeds University Union services to get you home safely. The LUU Nightbus costs only £1, and emergency arrangements are in place with Amber Taxis.

Edward Boyle Library silent texting service

We want to make your revision as stress-free as possible, so once again we are running the silent texting service in the Edward Boyle Library.

It will run from Monday 11 January to Friday 22 January.

How does it work?

If it is too noisy in a Silent Study area you may send us a text. A member of staff will then be in your area as soon as they can to deal with the problem.

Look out for the fliers and on the display screens in the Edward Boyle Library for the number to text.
