Summer training sessions available for researchers - book online now

Join a Researcher@Library training session over the summer to learn how to use EndNote to manage your references. These sessions are specifically for postgraduate research students and University staff.

Book your place on an EndNote for researchers training session.

Over the course of your research, you'll gather, read and review hundreds, if not several thousands of references. Keeping track of extensive bodies of literature can be challenging for postgraduate research students and staff.

EndNote is the most well-known and established reference management software and is available on the University desktop. It is used by thousands of researchers worldwide to keep track of references. EndNote also easily creates bibliographies and adds references into Word documents.

Nine training sessions are running at different times throughout summer 2016. The sessions will consist of demos and practicals to help you develop your EndNote skills. Each session lasts for 1 hour 30 minutes.

You will learn how to:

  • explore the benefits of using EndNote to manage your references
  • develop skills in importing and managing references using EndNote
  • insert citations from EndNote directly into Microsoft Word and create bibliographies instantly
  • find full text papers
  • remove duplicate references
  • create groups to organise your references.

No previous experience of using EndNote is necessary.

If you cannot attend one of these sessions, you can also find help and tutorials on the Library's EndNote support webpages.
