24 hour opening

The Laidlaw Library will be open 24 hours a day from Monday 9 January until midnight on Friday 20 January.

Check the Library opening times for other libraries on campus including the fully open and newly refurbished Edward Boyle Library, which has 2,000 seats.

Getting home

If you're studying late, you can use Leeds University Union services to get you home safely. The LUU Nightbus costs only £1, and emergency arrangements are in place with Amber Taxis.

Follow @UoLLibrary on Twitter

The Library recently launched the new #JustAsk Twitter service. You can tweet @UoLLibrary on weekdays with questions, suggestions or comments on any Library-related topic, and our customer service team will reply and do their best to help.

With a new tip, trick or technique a day, follow @UoLLibrary for encouragement and advice during revision and exam periods.

Also, see the University's Storify on Exams and assessments, which brings together advice from across campus.

Extra pop-up revision space

The Library can get very busy at exam time, so we remind students that if you are leaving your study space unattended for more than 30 minutes, you should take your belongings with you, so that someone else can use the space.

We have made rooms G.03 and G.06 available in 11-14 Blenheim Terrace 9am-5pm weekdays for revision from Monday 9 until Friday 20 January.

The Light Café at Leeds University Union will be open weekdays 11am-6pm. Ideal for students who prefer a more relaxed and informal work environment, the Café will have Lumie SAD lamps, free hot drinks, and comfortable furniture. There will also be workshops on mental health topics.
