Two new post-doctoral fellowship opportunities

Short-term fellowships working with our Special Collections now open for applications.

Leeds Art and Humanities Research Institute (LHRI) have launched two new fellowships for 2019, in collaboration with Special Collections and the Yorkshire Archaeological and Historical Society (YAHS). These join LHRI's existing Brotherton fellowship, which is entering its fourth year.

Successful applicants will use our Special Collections at the Brotherton Library, with YAHS fellows making particular use of the Yorkshire Archaeological and Historical Society Collection.

Open to scholars of any discipline, the fellowships are for early-career researchers. Both offer the opportunity to gain experience to support further post-doctoral funding applications at the University of Leeds.

Fellows will carry out their research in Leeds over four weeks and submit a short report and blog post. Both schemes receive £2,000 living expenses and up to £500 travel expenses.
