Fines for overdue items

The library does not charge fines if your books become overdue.

If an item you have out is recalled by another customer, and you do not return it on time, you will be blocked from borrowing any more items until it is returned.
We will send you reminders to let you know the item is overdue.

If after several reminders you have not returned the item, we will invoice you £50 for the cost of replacing it.

If you return the item you will not have to pay the replacement charge.

If you owe more than £50 in charges, you will not be able to borrow any more items.
