Fifty years ago as the new Undergraduate library was being built, the Librarian told the story of the Brotherton Library. The new Undergradauate Library was later named the Edward Boyle Library.

Over 1000 people queued for tickets for the famous Who gig. Despite the Union steps being filled by"sheep-skinned, bearded wierdies", there were few incidents as people waited.

This issue contained a story about a new sheepdog for the campus to control the marrauding sheep. It was a special April Fool's Day edition, called "Leeds Stupid".
