Letter to Leyland enquiring on behalf of John Brown, whether Leyland will be visiting Haworth during the following week. The letter also discusses the poor state of Brontë’s mental health during his week-long visit to Liverpool and North Wales [with John Brown, following the termination of his employment at Thorp Green resulting from his ‘affair’ with Mrs Robinson].
