Description

Christ hangs crucified on the cross, with the Virgin Mary and St. John on either side. A centurion confesses his belief in Christ, and a group of soldiers stand behind him. The sun and moon appear in the sky at either side of the cross. The border is decorated with a snail and flowers, including campanulas, strawberries, and blue thistles.
