The collection was developed as a reference library for students studying the ‘Women & Development‘ course and includes conference papers, copies of articles, including academic papers, newsletters, periodicals, general reference material and copies of theses. The collection was donated to FAN by a librarian at UEA.

Biography or history

‘Women & Development’ was an MSc course run by East Anglia University, focussing on women’s rights in an international context. The course finished after Ruth Pearson left. The collection was developed as a reference library for students studying the ‘Women & Development‘ course and includes conference papers, copies of articles, including academic papers, newsletters, periodicals, general reference material and copies of theses. The collection was donated to FAN by a librarian at UEA. N.B. no copy of the classification scheme.
