Twentieth-century binding of limp vellum with yapp edges. Gold-tooled on the smooth spine are the words: Gaforius - Musice Practica 1497. Watermark of a cross on the final blank leaf and the leaf preceding it. Size: 287 x 212 mm. Leaf size: 280 x 198mm.
Provenance
Coloured armorial bookplate of Sir Edward Allen Brotherton on the front pastedown. The book was most likely acquired before 17 June 1929 when Brotherton was created Baron Brotherton of Wakefield.
