An exhibition to sink your teeth into, and a night to remember.
Raise a glass and celebrate the launch of Quite Shameless, an exhibition that explores the rich and unsettling legacy of the vampire.
This spooky season we invite you to explore how science, folklore and fiction have shaped the vampire’s enduring appeal. Discover unique materials from medieval, literary, medical and theatrical archives, alongside highlights from the Bram Stoker collection. From dances of death to the emergence of gothic literature, the exhibition traces how the undead entered the imagination long before Dracula.
The vampire lurks among us as both a monster and a mirror. Bring your gothic finery and a good dose of curiosity for creatures of the night.
The exhibition will be open from 5.30pm until 7.30pm. Speeches will be at 6pm. Refreshments provided.
