Virtual prize show for recent Art and Design graduates of the University of Leeds, recognising the creativity and excellence of our students.

Enjoy the freshest talent from Leeds’ budding art scene from home.

The annual FUAM Graduate Art Prize is virtual! Now in its ninth year, the prize and exhibition, supported by the Friends of University Art & Music (FUAM), rewards the artistic excellence of students completing BA studies in Art and Design and Fine Art at the University of Leeds in 2021.

Visit the online exhibition to view the four finalists’ work.

The 2021 finalists are:

Natasha Evans (BA Art and Design)
Ibrahim Ince (BA Fine Art with History of Art)
Sidonie Knight (BA Fine Art)
Michelle Muratori (BA Art and Design)

Watch the finalists discuss their work in a Meet the Artist Youtube playlist.

The finalists were selected by an expert panel of judges following submissions from recent graduates of the School of Fine Art, History of Art and Cultural Studies and School of Design at the University of Leeds.

The judging panel comprises Masud Khokhar (University Librarian and Keeper of the Brotherton Collection), Holly Grange (Exhibitions Curator, Leeds Art Gallery) and Professor Ann Sumner (freelance art historian).

The judges returned in October 2021 to choose the overall winner of the FUAM Graduate Art Prize 2021, which was announced alongside the People's Choice Vote winner:

The overall FUAM 2021 winner is Ibrahim Ince.

The FUAM 2021 People's Choice Vote winner is Ibrahim Ince.
