A new exhibition, opening 29 March at The Stanley & Audrey Burton Gallery, explores the centrality of myth, history, poetry and place in the work of prize-winning poet, author, and translator Kevin Crossley-Holland.
Join curator Dr Catherine Batt to find out more about the exhibition’s development and the material used from the Crossley-Holland Archive, and his collection of artwork and artefacts.
Over a long and storied career, Kevin Crossley-Holland has written in a range of forms: poetry, fiction, memoir, libretti, traditional tales and translation. A strong sense of myth, history, poetry and place resonate throughout his work. This new exhibition explores these themes from his earliest experiences to his most celebrated works.
