Professional Practice Seminar: Thinking About Exhibitions

Are you an artist or craftsperson? Do you exhibit your artwork or want to start? If yes, this workshop might be just the ticket!

Join the Art Curator of The Stanley & Audrey Burton Gallery and the University’s Digital Archivist to get top tips and tricks for how you might arrange and hang your artworks to show them off to their best.

This will be a practical workshop where you can gain a basic understanding of curatorial decision-making when planning physical, non-virtual exhibitions. Both traditional art forms and audio-visual technology will be discussed. Join us and explore the choices made in our exhibitions before considering how to best exhibit your own artwork.

There will also be opportunity for Q&A with the Art Curator.

This workshop is for University of Leeds students and early career professionals.
