How do you take your tea? National Tea Day Workshop

Fancy a cuppa? Join us to celebrate National Tea Day! Create your own loose leaf blend and explore all things tea in our collections.

This National Tea Day join us at the Galleries to chat about all things tea! Share your recipes and tea-drinking experiences with others over a brew and cake, create your own blend of loose leaf tea, and make a handcrafted tea bag to take home with you.

We've delved through our archives to find some tea-rrific objects for you to look at – our old tea recipes and teapots show us how tea-drinking habits have changed over the years. What will you discover about tea that you didn’t know before?

Once you've enjoyed your tea, cake and crafting, why not head over to our regular Friday Sketch Club which will have special tea-related focuses so you can get extra creative with a bit of sketching in the galleries. You can find out more about our weekly Sketch Club here.

The workshop will be run twice, at 10:30 and 14:00. Please select a time when booking your ticket.
