Experience the meditative art of paper marbling in this introductory workshop with brilliant artist Sarah Albon
The marbling process of floating ink on water and watching the colours move across the surface is mesmerising. Learn a few simple techniques for creating and capturing these delicate patterns, and produce your own unique decorative papers to take away, enjoy and use in other creative projects.
There will be refreshments provided and we will supply all the materials. No experience necessary.
Sarah Albon is an artist and illustrator working in a variety of media. Her artwork is inspired by nature and ranges from botanical illustration to abstract compositions. Sarah is an experienced teacher of art and craft workshops including printmaking and bookbinding from which her interest in marbling has developed.

Cancellation requests made at least 48 hours in advance of the event start date/time will receive a refund, minus Eventbrite fees. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the event start date/time will not be refunded, or in exceptional circumstances, only at the discretion of Galleries staff. Full refunds or equivalent will be given if the event is cancelled.
