This copy contains only a portion of the full work and is wanting all before b2 and all after i5.
Some worm damage
Bindings
Nineteenth-century binding of half calf and brown marbled paper over pasteboard. The marbled paper features the spot pattern in shades of brown and black. The smooth spine is divided into six panels with gold-tooled double fillets. Gold-tooled in the second panel are the words: Justiniano et Terenti 1482. The other panels are decorated with a single blind-tooled lozenge-shaped ornament. The upper cover has become detached. Size: 310 x 227mm. Leaf size: 302 x 217mm.

Bookseller's blind stamp on the top left corner of the verso of the front free endpaper: G. Winterburn, Bolton. Bookseller.
Coloured armorial bookplate of Sir Edward Allen Brotherton on the front pastedown. The book was most likely acquired before 17 June 1929 when Brotherton was created Baron Brotherton of Wakefield.
