Description

Letters written by Branwell Brontë and addressed to various correspondents. 21 letters are addressed to Joseph Bentley Leyland, with one address to Francis Grundy, one to John Brown, and a further letter to an anonymous correspondent.


The letters were previously bound together in a single volume with transcripts, titled 'The Leyland Manuscripts'. The volume of transcripts is listed at the end of this sequence (BC MS 19c Brontë/02/25)
