Manuscript poem. Written after the second stanza, "Air by Baron Gluck Adapted to English words by P.B. Brontë. (Air "Non vi turbate no" or "Mater divinae gratiae.")." This is the first half of the poem, 'An Echo from Indian Cannon.' The second half can be found in the untitled poem that begins with the line, 'Long since that bold heart...' at BC MS 19c Brontë/02/02/38.
