Description

Two males cleaning, or dodding, a sheep's tail, Apedale. One man holds the sheep still on a salving stool, while the other cleans the tail using hand shears. Mounted on Photo File card with LAVC/PHO/P0782. With ms. note on tail cleaning in the hand of Werner Kissling, based on information from Albert Spenceley (or Albert Spensley?) of Castle Bolton.
