Description

Farmers Syd Metcalfe and John Richardson negotiating the sale of a cow outside a farm in Thornton Rust ( Wensleydale). Mr. Metcalfe haggles the price. The hand gestures of the two men suggest that they are about to strike a bargain. Mounted on Photo File card with LAVC/PHO/P1597. Parts of the negotiating conversation are recorded on the card in ms. Card 3 in a series of 5.
