It was another of his pioneering initiatives to promote an understanding of dance and dance notation.; b) Edition of Schrifttanz, Universal Edition A.G., July 1928, 1 Jahrg Heft 1. Foreword includes reference to Rudolf von Laban and on pages 4 and 5 is an article "Grundprinzipien der Bewegungsschrift by Rudolf von Laban.
