Description

She hopes that Hugo can opens a door at the Assembly for her. She says she bought some medicine against the cholera. 'Le Siècle', a Conservative newspaper, has replaced 'Le Peuple' in her street, but it does not sell well; she also adds that the people in her street are hopeless after the failure of the insurrection of 13 June 1849.
