Contains a diary of Sir Edward Turnor's voyage to Holland in October 1670 to fetch William Prince of Orange on a visit to London.


Written in a single seventeenth-century hand, possibly autograph. The title of the diary is written on f.2v in the margin beside the end of the text and transversely in relation to it.

Biography or history

Sir Edward Turnor (1617-1676) was a judge and Speaker of the House of Commons.
