Comprises: 1) 'Kipling's Message', an anti-German address delivered by Rudyard Kipling at Folkestone on February 15, 1918, printed by W. H. Smith and Son, London (6 ff.); 2) a facsimile copy of a letter by Kipling concerning his Yorkshire connections (10 June 1896) (2 ff.); and 3) a typed copy of a review of a report on guerilla warfare written by Kipling for "The Civil and Military Gazette. Tuesday, April 22, 1884. New Series: No. 2, 271. Vol. IX", dated "Calcutta, 1883".
