W. G. Harrison (ARMY) - Letters 1-12 (23.03.1945 - 28.05.1945) many full of hate for Germans, eg - Letter 6, "I hope by the time this war finishes every town is crippled!", Letter 11, "What a pity the Russians aren't having the purge I always hoped they would have! All these horror centres could be adapted to the Germans quite well...". Letter 1 describes some of the damage, "it is as if some monster had raised a fist and crunched buildings down". Several letters describe the problems of "no fraternisation". Letter 7 describes shooting by a kid of a Canadian Colonel and subsequent reprisals.
