W. G. Harrison (ARMY) - Letter 3, 04.04.1945 - "Some newspapers came today - as usual - everything's over bar the shouting! The Daily Express gives me a pain in the neck". Letter 12 (28.04.1945) refers to the approaching election - "Although liberal I've a good mind to send in my votes (one by proxy) for the Conservatives, just to do the Socialists down. Just like the Labour to break up the Coalition, when everything needs to run smoothly."
