Letter 8 (3.9.14) refers to wages to be paid to employees who are serving in or who join H.M Forces, also safeguarding them post-war jobs as far as possible. Letter 26a (11.11.15) "Brabys have started to make shells...the Arsenal say they are much better than the majority of the shells sent in".
