Note: Sender is the Canadian poet. Congratulates K C-H on "Waterslain" and encloses one of his poems entitled "Reading the diary". A note at the end of the (printed) poem says: "First drafted in Ash, England & Zele, Belgium, 1945, & published in 'Now is time', Ryerson Pr., 1945; revised 1974". "Revised 1974" is written by hand, the rest of the printed note having been crossed out
