Leeds University Library Galleries are in the Parkinson Building of the University of Leeds.

The entrance of The Stanley & Audrey Burton Gallery is on your left after you enter the main Parkinson Building entrance.

The entrance of the Treasures of the Brotherton Gallery is on your right when you enter the main Parkinson Building entrance.

By walking

Parkinson Building is on Woodhouse Lane. It is a 20-minute walk from Leeds city centre.

By bus

A number of bus services run from the city centre to the Parkinson Building. Take bus numbers 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, or 56. Ask for the “Parkinson steps” bus stop.

By train

The galleries are 1.1 miles from Leeds Railway Station. The station is about a 20-minute walk, 15-minute bus ride, or 10-minute taxi ride away from the Parkinson Building.

By bicycle

There are cycle facilities across the University of Leeds campus. You can find a map of bicycle storage on the University of Leeds Cycle website.

By car

Leeds is linked to the M1 and M62. If you are using satellite navigation, the postcode is LS2 9JT.

Car parking

Campus parking is not available for visitors on weekdays. We recommend you use the nearby multi-storey Woodhouse Lane car park.

Campus parking is available at the weekend. Access is at the main entrance outside the Parkinson Building.

Blue badge holders

Parking for disabled blue badge holders is available on campus for visitors. If you are a blue badge holder, you need to contact us with your name, the date of your visit and your registration number at least 48 hours before your visit.

We advise that blue badge holders enter the campus via the main barrier on Woodhouse Lane, in front of the Parkinson Building, in order to show your badge.

Coach parking

Coaches can drop off and pick up outside the Parkinson steps, but there are no parking spaces for coaches on the campus.
